Collateral Materials

Collateral materials include business stationery, brochures, pocket folders, point of purchase display items, annual reports, flyers, and basically anything that can be printed for the purpose of marketing your company.

Once your corporate identity has been established, the first order of business is a stationery package. Even in the age of email, a well-designed letterhead printed on quality paper speaks volumes about your company. It says that you care about your image, and it makes a strong first impression. Of course, complimenting second sheets, envelopes, business cards and mailing labels complete the package. We will even include a digital template for emailing documents.

Just about every company needs some kind of brochure. It can be a simple three-panel rack brochure, or it can be a very impressive image brochure. Many companies need both. The first can be printed in large quantities very affordably and is well-suited for handing out or mailing in quantity. The latter is more expensive and is used more selectively. Point-of-purchase covers a wide array of items, from contest entry blanks to large stand-up store displays. Strategic Marketing will work with you to evaluate what items are needed to market your product or service, then design and oversee production and installation, whenever appropriate.

Annual Reports

Certain companies and organizations are required to produce annual reports. We believe that many of them overspend in this area, particularly non-profit organizations who depend on donations for income. Nothing says “we have absolutely no regard for your money” to stockholders and donors like a slick, full-color, gold-foil embossed, die-cut expensive annual report. We are not saying that it shouldn’t look nice and professional. It just doesn’t necessarily need to be elaborate and expensive.

The main point is that you want to achieve a consistent look and feel with all of your collateral materials. You depend on them to speak for you in your absence, and like all other marketing efforts, they should strongly reinforce your brand.
